Built around
the dog.
A Crafted Paw session isn't about forcing a dog through a list of poses. We choose a place with room to breathe, create the conditions for a strong portrait, and leave enough space for personality to take over.
From first conversation
to finished portrait.
The experience is intentionally unhurried: thoughtful preparation, patient photography and a finished result worth living with.
Choose the right place.
We talk about your dog—temperament, energy, favorite environments and the kind of portrait you hope to remember. Then we choose a setting that supports that story.
Let the session breathe.
We make the composed portraits, but we also allow time for movement, exploration and the expressions that can't be scheduled. Leashes can remain part of the process when safety requires them.
Turn photographs into artwork.
After the session, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery of approximately 25–40 carefully selected images. Choose your favorite ten for individual final finishing and high-resolution delivery. Additional photographs and a complete-gallery upgrade are available. For clients who want the portrait to live beyond the screen, select images can also become handcrafted finished artwork—printed on canvas and framed by Marc specifically for the photograph.
The Signature Portrait Experience · $795
The session includes pre-session planning and location guidance, approximately 60–90 minutes of photography for up to two dogs, a private proofing gallery of approximately 25–40 images, and ten individually finished high-resolution portraits of your choosing. Additional photographs, a complete-gallery upgrade and handcrafted artwork are available separately.
The unexpected moments belong in the story.
A head turn, a sprint through grass, a look back toward you—sometimes the photograph that matters most isn't the one we planned.

Natural doesn't have to mean off leash.
Safety comes first. A dog doesn't need perfect recall—or even the ability to work off leash—to create an environmental portrait. We can photograph with a lead when necessary and choose locations, angles and pacing accordingly.
What matters is finding enough comfort and space for your dog to look and behave like itself.
Multiple dogs? Absolutely. We can build the session around individual portraits, photographs together, or a combination of both.
